CASE MANAGEMENT
SCREENING, ASSESSMENT AND REFERRAL services include screening, assessment, funding, placement and authorization of alcohol and other drug abuse care for eligible county residents.
INTENSIVE CASEMANAGEMENT
INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT (ICM) services link individuals to support services and monitor their progress as they move towards recovery and maintenance of healthier lifestyles. Intensive case managers can help the recovering individual gain access to recovery houses, transportation to medical appointments, educational and vocational assistance, and help with other needs. These services are voluntary and targeted to special populations.
TREATMENT ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM
The Treatment Alternative Program provides drug and alcohol assessments, case management and referral to community-based treatment facilities for offenders as an alternative to incarceration. All referrals must be sentenced to the Intermediate Punishment Program and determined appropriate for services by the drug and alcohol case management unit.
THE COALITION FOR A TOBACCO FREE BEAVER COUNTY
The Coalition for a Tobacco-free Beaver County was developed as a result of the state awarding the SCA the tobacco settlement funds for Beaver County. As a result programs addressing Prevention, Advocacy, Cessation, Education and Referral as it relates to tobacco use were developed for Beaver County residents.
